I could go into a whole speech about how good this weekend was but I think this photo sums it up nicely.

Fantasy Football League
26 July 2005

The beginning of the football season is fast approaching us once again. Unfortunately the BBC has stopped running its fantasy football league due to cut-backs it's making on its website. However I have found a better alternative... the Premiership's Official Fantasy Football League. The basic rule are you get £100 million to spend on your team which consists of 2 Goalkeepers, 5 Defenders, 5 Midfielders and 3 Forwards. Unlike the BBC version you can make transfers every game-week instead of every game-month.

To make it more interesting I was thinking of collecting a pot for the winner - £5 p.p. This will help to sustain our interest in the league throughout the season. I know in previous years I never bothered to change my time after the first few months.

If you are interested you can use the PayPal Link below to send me the £5 or you can give it to me in person. Once I have received your payment I will give you the code required to join the league. Goodluck everyone.... and hands off my wooden spoon!

Two Days of Summer
14 July 2005

I have just enjoyed the two days of summer we get in the tropical climes of N.Ireland. I spent the best day of the year so far stuck in a half-empty office. Things are bad when you start clock-watching at 9.30 a.m. The 12th was spent in my back-garden soaking up the sun and reading a book...Dan Brown-Digital Fortress. The 12th night was spent drinking...my favourite pastime! Pudseys birthday bash was good fun...as it is every year!

Unfortunately I will miss Mr.Creighton's birthday this year again. I have to go to England for a company induction thing. I don't want to go but they are making me!

The Smell of A New Blog
8 July 2005

Ah the smell of a fresh blog...just like the smell of a new car! It's been a long time since I last even thought of maintaining my site, so I decided to give it a fresh start. Alot has happened since my last post... I now have a job! Yes I am now a fully paid up member of the tax paying nation. I'm now a technical administrator/junior developer for the company I was previously doing work experience for.

I'm not the only person experiencing changes at the moment. Other major events... the engagement of Dave and Janet, the birth of the Creighton/Russell household and their child Arnie. It seems like every other week someone is getting engaged or buying a house! Congratulations to everyone and I am looking forward to the summer season of peoples birthdays.
